Our Story

How a trail, a garden, and a season of grief became the foundation of everything we build.

Origin Story

It began with hiking trails &

talking to God.

Ruth Marie & Co. wasn’t born from a business plan. It was born from a love of nature, a season of grief, a garden, and the slow realization that the tools made to survive a hard season were exactly what other women needed too.

I started hiking in 2020, not for exercise, but to be with God. No noise, no distractions, just me and Him.

Not long after, I found myself in a season I never expected. My grandmother and my mother both became ill, and I was one of their caretakers, all while I was eight months into becoming a mother for the first time. Within a year, I lost them both.

Grief has a way of stripping everything down to what’s true. In the middle of that loss, I started a garden. Not because I had any idea what I was doing, but because I needed a place to just, be. God met me there instead.

Ruth Marie & Co. and the Ayin Gardens blog grew directly out of that season, launching together around Easter 2026.

The name carries weight. Ruth — honoring a daughter and a late mother. Marie — honoring a daughter and mother-in-law. Not a company name. A memorial and a promise held in the same breath.

Resting Only On Truth Each Day

Ruth Marie & Co. is a faith-rooted brand creating intentional resources for women to slow down and notice what God is growing around them, through them, and within them.

At the heart of everything we do is an encouragement to remain rooted in God’s Word through every season.

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven”

— Ecclesiastes 3:1

Where I am Right Now

Ruth Marie & Co. is still growing. I’m actively completing my Certified Christian Grief Counselor coursework and plan to expand my services beyond coaching. What I can offer you right now is real faith-rooted tools and resources to help you navigate any season you’re in. And, a companion for the road: someone who has walked through real loss, who knows what it is to bring pain to God instead of hiding it, and who wants to walk that road with you too.
